How to embed GIF into video online
This seems to be easier said than done. There are many options, but one of the easiest ways to make your clips funnier and just plain more enjoyable to watch is to add motion to them. In this case, what could be better than making videos with GIFs?
And really, why not insert GIFs in a video when most of us probably use them daily? They perfectly show what we want to express; in some cases, one GIF will convey the range of emotions we would explain in words for several minutes. In addition, most GIFs, especially meme ones, are free to use, and if you wish, you can even make your own GIF pics from any recordings or images.
So, how to put a GIF in a video? Our editing tool is right up your alley! Using it, you can easily add GIFs to images or movies and do much more. On top of that, you don’t have to download and install anything, only an Internet connection is needed!
It’s also simple to use, just look at the steps below:
Add files
Open Clideo’s Video Editor in any browser you like and click "Get started".
Click "Upload" to import the media files you want to use – GIFs, photos, videos, etc. Make sure GIFs have a transparent background, so they don’t obscure the picture. You can choose files from your device, Google Drive, or Dropbox.
Make a video with GIFs
Drag the files from "My Media" to the preview area or timeline. To overlay a GIF on the video, simply put it on the top line in the timeline. And if you want the GIF to stay the full length of the video, but it’s too short, copy and paste it as many times as needed.
But before that, edit the GIF according to your taste, so you can just copy it in later. To do so, click it either in the preview or in the timeline and apply the options you need. And if you want to make a GIF bigger or smaller, simply drag its corners in the preview to set the right size.
When you finish editing, click "Export" and choose the export option you like.
Download the video
Take a look at how the result looks, and if everything is good, click "Download" to save it to your device or cloud storage. Otherwise, click "Edit" to make changes.
