Add music to a GIF easily

Most people do not want to go through the long process of turning a GIF to a video in one app and then adding audio in another one. Luckily, we have a tool that can help you add music to a GIF on Android, iPhone, PC, and Mac. All you need is a web browser and an internet connection to use all the features.

  1. Upload your GIF

Open Clideo's GIF Converter in your favorite browser and click "Get started".

Add your files, there are several ways to do it:

    • Click "+" to add from your device.
    • Tap one of the social media buttons to upload content from Google Drive, Google Photos, or Dropbox.
    • Record your own music or video right from your browser.
    • Drag and drop or copy and paste your files.

    • Make use of one of the stock libraries with elements, images, videos, and music.
  2. Add song to GIF

Find all the files you added in the "Media" tab and rearrange them in the timeline as you need. At this point, your GIF has already become a video. If you want to make it longer, drag the yellow handles to adjust its duration.

Edit audio: trim it and adjust its volume. Use fade effects if you need.

Select an aspect ratio and crop option in the "Canvas" tab. The change will be immediately visible in a preview window.

All that remains is to convert your GIF with music to MP4. Hit the "Export" button and select the option that suits you.

  3. Download the file

Take a look at your new video. If you're happy with it, download it to your device or save it to your cloud storage. And if you want to go back and change something, click "Edit".
