How to translate video to English or any other language

There are many interesting topics in the world, both global and belonging to certain cultures. And if videos on the former are quite common, then in the case of the latter, it’s often necessary to familiarize yourself with foreign languages to understand what is being said. However, this is not always convenient or feasible for the average viewer, so making video translations is also widespread.

With the development of video translation services, the process of doing that is becoming easier, faster, and more accurate. If you want to change the time when a certain text appears, on the left to each text box there are boxes indicating the time when they are shown. There, you can write the specific time. Alternatively, drag the text box in the timeline to place it where you need it.

In the right upper corner, there is the "Styles" tab, where you can change the appearance of the subtitles. You can select one of the presets.

Or you can go wild and adjust the appearance to your liking. For example, the first icon makes the text appear at the top or bottom of the video, and the second one makes it centered or leaning to the left or right side. Select one of the featured text fonts, or search for a more suitable one for you, and choose the size for the text.

The selected or created style will be applied to all the subtitles.

In the lower-left corner, click "Format" to choose the output format for your video if you need to change it.

In the lower right corner, click the gear icon to see additional options. Disable "Change speech" if you don’t want to replace audio in the video and have the translated subtitles only.

When you finish editing, click "Export video" and wait for it to process.

After that, you can watch the preview once more and click "Download" to save the result to your device or cloud storage.

If you would like to have just the translated text, after uploading and translating the file, change the text if necessary and add your comments if you need to. Once you’re satisfied with the text, click "↓ TXT" above the boxes to save the translation as a text file.

If you want to have this information in other languages as well, simply click the "Translate" button on the left to "↓ TXT" and repeat the process.

  3. Translate video by making a translated voiceover

To include a translated voiceover, keep the "Change speech" toggle on and disable "Include subtitles" if you don’t want to have text embedded in the video. In the "Voice" dropdown list, select the type of voice you want to use for AI voiceover.

Click "Export video" and wait before the processing ends.
