How to add a sticker to a Halloween video

It’s a sign of good digital manners to "season" your content according to the upcoming holiday or just the time of year. Before Halloween, every cafe or other public place displays pumpkins, hangs spirits and spiders, and places spooky decorations. Should your vlog be worse? Definitely not. Especially since you can add cute Halloween stickers to videos just in a couple of clicks.

  1. Create a project

    Open Clideo’s Add Stickers to Video tool in any browser and hit the "Get started" button.

    Upload your initial assets: recordings, photos, and music. You can import them from cloud storage accounts or your local folders, create them right in the tool, or pick them up from the inbuilt libraries. In the "Images" tab you can also set up the project’s background.

    Go to the "Canvas" tab and set up the aspect ratio. Rearrange your visuals and audio as you need. You can move them both on the timeline and in the Canvas editing pane. Add text using the "T" collection or generate text-to-speech (TTS) voiceover.

  2. Put a sticker on a video

    Open the "Elements" tab and find the "Stickers" collection.

    Click "See all" and the magnifying glass icon to open the search field. Here you can look for some themed stickers, using, for example, inquiries "happy Halloween", or "spooky".

    Other Halloween sticker ideas may include "Jack o lantern", "trick or treat", "ghosts", and even "Samhain". Place the stickers where you need them, resize them, and adjust their duration in the timeline.

  3. Save the project

    When you are fully done, hit the "Export" button and select the output resolution. If your project lasts less than 30 seconds, you can turn it into a GIF. Then click "Continue" and let the tool do its job.

    As soon as the project is processed, save it to the chosen location or return to the editing canvas.
