  3. Edit files

    Select the file in the timeline to open its editing options.

    You can edit visuals in the following ways:

    • Change the crop option
    • Mirror an image vertically or horizontally
    • Rotate a visual with a step 5 degrees
    • Adjust color and brightness settings
    • Blur an image
    • Change the speed rate (only for videos)

    When it comes to audio tracks, you can change the following options:

    • Volume
    • Fade in (the sound gradually becomes louder)
    • Fade out (the sound gradually disappears)

    There are a few more icons to the left of the editing pane that we have not described yet.

    "Canvas" opens an editing pane for the whole project. Here you can choose an aspect ratio and a background color.

    "Text" allows you to add captions. They will be placed on a separate track. Arrange them using our hints from the previous step, then go on editing.

    • Select a font from the library. A hint! The drop-down list shows just the most popular ones, use the search field to find any other Google font you prefer.
    • Choose its properties: color, weight, and size.
    • Adjust line height and letter spacing.
    • Select an alignment. You can also make your caption bold, italics, or capitalized.
    • Pick up a background color for the text element.

  4. Save the project

    Hit the "Export" button in the top right corner and choose the output resolution. 480p, 720p, and GIF are available for all types of users, but 1080p and 2160p, marked with a little crown, are for the Clideo Pro subscribers.

    Then click the "Continue" button, and while the tool is doing its job, fetch a nice cup of tea.

  1. Add a video to the tool

    Open the Add Music to Video tool and click "Choose file" to pick up your video first. If you want to import a file from Google Drive, Google Photos, or Dropbox, call the drop-down menu on the right side of the button.

  2. Add music to background of the video

    Once the video is added, you can see the preview screen with the video timeline and the options pane to the right.

    Hit the "Add audio" button to the right of the player to upload an audio track. When it's processed, in the left box below the music title, set up the starting point if your audio should start a bit later (or you can drag the audiotrack in the timeline. Then you can adjust the volume of the freshly added audio and the initial video sound if there is any.

    Hit the scissors icon if you need to trim the audio file.
