How to put a sticker on a video
Many people perceive visual information better than auditory one, and therefore, when editing a video, such people usually add additional visual elements, for example, video stickers.
Some of them are just funny and cute, like hearts and thought clouds, and add additional subtext to the video that the author chose not to say out loud. Other stickers, like arrows, questions, or exclamation marks, can be used as annotations that explain and help viewers better understand the video content or emphasize certain moments or parts of a video.
Now, where to put stickers so they fit the narrative? Actually, anywhere you need them. They can be very versatile: whether it's a segment of a video essay, a humorous clip, or just a story for social networks, all of them could benefit from motion stickers.
Are you making such a video yourself and looking for suitable stickers? Our online tool lets you quickly find and use them in your project! It's straightforward to do:
Add files
Open Clideo's Online Video Editor and click "Get started".
Then click the plus icon to add your video and images. You can also import your files from your cloud storage like Google Drive, Dropbox, etc.
Put stickers on the video
First, to find perfect stickers, scroll through the menu on the left and open the "Elements" tab, then click "See all" in the stickers section.
Here, click the search icon and type keywords into the search field to find suitable stickers faster.
The stickers are powered by Giphy, you can use them for personal and non-commercial purposes; otherwise, your content can be taken down. So make sure you go through their license agreement in case of any doubts.
To add stickers to photos or videos, simply drag them to the point in the timeline where they should play. After they're placed, you can adjust their size and position in the preview window. If you want the sticker to play multiple times in a row, copy and paste it.
Besides adding stickers, you can also edit photo and video files separately. To do so, click the file you want to edit and make visual changes – crop and trim them, change their color, or adjust other settings, like speed for videos.
If you want to also add some captions, click any preset from the "Text" tab, then write captions and customize their font, color, size, etc. The position can be adjusted similarly to the stickers.
When you finish editing, click "Export" and choose your preferred option.
Save the video
Watch the playback to see if you like the result. To make changes, click "Edit", and if everything looks good, click "Download" to save the video to your device or cloud storage.
