What is a video review
Suppose you have a small business or must promote some goods and services. In that case, the skill of creating high-quality reviews is one of the key ones. Nowadays, shoppers are looking for unobtrusive, well-designed ads without too many distracting elements, which is why product review videos with unboxing and using goods are becoming increasingly popular. They can also be educating, for example, music video reviews help aspiring musicians create something of their own with a better understanding of the subject.
Of course, you can always turn to video review services for such purposes, but isn't it more interesting to try to do everything yourself? In most cases, you don't even have to show your face or speak, as you can use subtitles and stock audio in the review and focus on the product instead.
So, want to become one of the video reviewers? Our online editing tool will come in handy then! It can be used as a review maker since you can record yourself with a product and edit it right away using it. The best thing is, it's not hard to do at all:
Make a recording
Open Clideo’s Online Video Editor and click "Get started".
Scroll down the navigation sidebar, click "Record", then "Camera". If prompted, allow your browser to access your microphone – and if you don't need to record your voice, simply disallow it or turn it off in the Settings of the recording pop-up window.
Then, click the red circle to start a recording session. While recording, you pause and retake the review using buttons in the Clideo tab.
When you have filmed everything you need, click "Stop" and add the files to your project timeline or "Uploads" in the next pop-up window.
Edit the review
Change the aspect ratio if needed by applying the suitable one in the "Canvas" tab. There are a few options available, such as 16:9, which is suitable for YouTube videos, and others.
Then, cut out the footage you don't need. To do so, place the playhead on the beginning of the unwanted part, then click "Split" at the top left of the timeline and repeat at every point where it's required. After that, select these pieces and click "Delete" to remove them.
By selecting a file in the timeline, you can see the tab with various options above. There, you can apply different changes to the selected clip, e.g., rotate it, change its crop option, adjust colors and opacity, change the speed, etc.
To add music or sound effects, place the audio file above the video at the point where it should play. In the options tab, you can adjust the sound using the "Volume" slider and apply fade-in and fade-out effects if needed.
If you want to fit several images or clips in one shot, it is possible as well – to do it, place the file above the main video in the timeline and place it wherever you want by manually dragging it in the preview window. If some files should overlay the other ones, simply place them on the line above them in the timeline.
To add captions, click + on any preset in the "Text" tab or drag it to the preview or timeline. Then, write the text and edit it according to your taste.
When you finish editing, click "Export" and choose the export option you like.
Save the result
Check the preview to see how your review video looks. If you like it, click "Download" to save it to your device or cloud storage. Otherwise, click "Edit" to return to the editor and make changes.
