How to translate a voice message
Progress is unstoppable, and voice messages are inevitably becoming more popular than regular ones as they are way more convenient: you can record them while walking, driving, performing some manual labor, etc.
On the other hand, while text messages are easily translated with built-in tools or online services, this is not always the case with voice recordings. At least, it used to be so until new breakthrough technologies were introduced.
Clideo's Voice Message Translator allows turning voice messages, memos, notes, and other audio files into English in a few minutes (depending on your Internet speed and the file's size). The service works online and is compatible with all operating systems and device types. It accepts inputs in various audio formats, including the most rare ones. The output may be saved as a video with a black screen and translated subtitles or audio track or as a text file in formats TXT or SRT.
The Voice Recording Translator is intuitively comprehensive and easy to use. Still, if you prefer to follow detailed manuals, here is one.
Upload the audio
Open the online Audio Translator and click the "Choose file" button to import audio from your device. Alternatively, call the drop-down menu and pick up the recording from the cloud storage account.
As soon as you're transferred to the next screen, set up the initial and the desired languages and hit the "Start Translation" button.
Translate voice to English
When the translation is done, you'll see the screen with subtitles in the needed language. Check them out and make corrections if necessary.
Once you finish, you can save and view the translated voice message as either a TXT or SRT file.
If you want to translate an audio file with voice-over, click the gear icon next to the "Export video" button and make sure the "Change speech" toggle is on. Choose one of the AI-generated "voice-over artists" and decide if you want to embed the subtitles in the output as well.
Finally, hit "Export video" and let the tool do its job.
Save the output
As soon as exporting is over, save the file to your device or cloud storage accounts. You can also return to the editing screen and change the settings if needed.
