How to put a logo on a video

There are two ways to create a video logo. Both include using the same tool, so we think it's a good idea to describe them in the same manual.

As for the tool, it's Clideo's one-in-all ultimate video editor, which features numerous functions, and new ones are still being added. It's not an app or software but rather an online service with all the perks of cloud storage. Our editor doesn't exhaust your device memory, it doesn't need installing and setting up, and it doesn't have any freemium modes, which force you to watch annoying ads.

You can use the full functionality of our service for free, but only for files up to 500 MB each. On the other hand, you can add as many files to your project as you need, so this little limitation will not prevent you from reaching your editing goal.

Let's see how it works.

  1. Upload a video to brand

Open Clideo's Video Editor in any browser and hit the "Get started" button.

Then click "Upload". Now you can pick up a file from your device, Dropbox, Google Drive, or Google Photos.

  2. Add a logo

As soon as your files are uploaded you can go on with logo editing.

There are two ways to do it.

    • If you create a logo from an image, it's best if you have your brand sign in PNG or any other picture format.

Hit the "plus" icon in the top left corner of the screen and upload a logo if you have not done it yet. Now you need to change its size and position as you need. Click on the image to select it, go to the "Adjust" tab, and change its opacity to make your logo more transparent.

    • If your logo is just some text, you can add it as a caption. Go to the "Text" section, select the caption pattern you like, and add it to the timeline. As in the previous option, adjust the logo's size and position, and set it up as you want.

A hint! When you call the drop-down menu with fonts, you'll see just the most popular ones. Try to enter the font name you're looking for in the search field, it may well be present.

Whatever you choose, now it's time to save your project.

  3. Process and download your video

Hit the "Export" button and select the output quality. If you have a free account, your choice is limited to the first two options.

Clideo Pro will not only lift this restriction but also erase our own tiny logo in the bottom right corner.

When the video is processed, you can either return to editing or save the file to your device or cloud storage account.
