How to make simple aesthetic edit
Not every video should have an aesthetic look: there are intentionally rough and messy recordings that aim to evoke controversial emotions. But if it’s not your case, you might want to create aesthetic videos, appealing to the sense of beauty and harmony.
Four main aspects could be modified for simple aesthetics:
- Color scheme
- Filters usage
- Animated and still elements
- Sound
All of them can be changed with the help of Clideo’s video editor. Not only does the tool have all the needed features and functionality, but it is also fitted with inbuilt stock libraries. So you can avail of various photos, videos, elements, and audio tracks, even if you don't have your own ones.
Let’s have a closer look at how to make the edits you need in three simple steps.
Upload a video
Open the Clideo's Video Editor in any browser.
Hit the "Get started" button to open the editing pane. Here you have several options to import your video:
- Click the "+" icon to import files from your device.
- Hit the chosen storage icon to upload assets from the cloud.
- Record your video right in the tool.
- Avail of the inbuilt stock library.
Make the video more aesthetic
Combine your video with other recordings and/or pictures, if necessary, using the options from the first step.
Go to the "Canvas" tab, set up the project’s aspect ratio, and select some sweet gradients for the background color.
Click the video file on the timeline (each one in their turn, if there are several), open the "Adjust" tab, set the opacity to 60-80% to make it transparent and see the background color, increase contrast, and decrease saturation. Try out other sliders as well to create the effect you like.
By the way, if you are a Clideo Pro subscriber, you can open a filter video tool and apply one of the presets you like, export the projects and then continue working in the video editor, where you can add music, subtitles, and other elements if needed.
As the final touch, select the file on the timeline, open the "Speed" tab, and slow the video down.
That’s it! Your project has a sweet and aesthetic look.
Save the project
When you are fully done, give the project the final run to make sure you like what you see. Then click the "Export" button at the top right and select the output quality.
When the visual is processed, save it to the chosen location.
