How to quickly edit an influencer video online

What is an influencer video and why does it need special editing? People become influencers for a reason: their content is interesting, useful, and fun enough to attract thousands of followers. With such a broad audience it’s essential to provide top-notch quality recordings.

Video influencers do their best to stand out. Nowadays it’s not enough to record a video with a cell phone and upload it to YouTube or Instagram. One should care about proper lighting, apply lapse effects, perform some post-shooting montage, and, of course, use different video editors.

If you’re looking for the right tool, here is the one to consider! Meet Clideo’s all-in-one video editor: free, convenient, and user-friendly.

Our service works online, so you don’t have to install any space-consuming software. You can just open the site and start your project right away, registration is not even needed to try it out. Or you can create a free account to be able to get back to your edited videos sometime later.

Let’s have a closer look at how to create an influencer video in three simple steps.

  1. Upload a raw video

Open Clideo’s video editor in any browser and hit that “Get started” button.

Then import a file from your personal device, Google Drive or Dropbox. If you have several files to combine in one recording or add a soundtrack, then bulk upload is also possible.

  2. Edit an influencer video

The “Canvas” tab in the navigation sidebar allows you to change the video’s aspect ratio and change the background color. It is better to decide about these settings at the beginning.

It would be too long to name all the functions of that tool, as there is a long list of them, and it’s easier to say what it can’t do yet (for example, it isn’t integrated with a VFX library yet).

To start, drag the uploaded files to the timeline or to the canvas. You can always add more visuals or audio by clicking the plus sign in the top-left corner of the screen.

Then click the items in the timeline and edit your media as you need: resize, change speed, adjust brightness, add transparency, etc..

You can find detailed instructions on different ways of using this editor and other tools in our blog or help center, but don't hesitate to just check all its functions in practice, as we’re constantly working on this tool and upgrading it regularly.

Don’t worry, you can always undo the last actions by hitting the left-faced arrow in the top-right part of the screen.

In the “Text” tab you can find a library of captions to add.

  3. Save the project

When you’re fully happy with the result, hit the “Export” button and choose the resolution of your video. If you use a free account, you can select only 480p or 720p, but for the Clideo Pro subscribers 1080p and 2160p are available. Another benefit, their project will not bear a tiny Clideo watermark.

Even at that point you still can return to editing and alter your project as you wish. If you think that no further actions are needed, save the video to your device or cloud storage account.
