YouTube remains the number-one video platform, so it has eventually become one of the largest online music collections. If you want to add your track, you’ll have to consider a couple of nuances.
YouTube is a video portal, and you can't upload an MP3 to YouTube directly. The only way is to combine audio with a shooting to turn it into a clip. Even a static image will be enough, but with the help of modern online tools, you can accomplish much more complicated projects.

Gather initial files
Open the YouTube video maker in any browser and hit the "Get started" button to open the editing pane. Now you can import your audio file with music and visuals in three ways:
Click the "+" button and upload files from your device or cloud storage account;
Avail of free video stock libraries;
Record audio, video, or both right in the tool.
After uploading, all files will appear both in the "Media" section and as tracks in the timeline. If you're importing more than 10 elements, you'll have to drag them to the timeline manually.
Create a project
Technically, you've already added music to your future YouTube video, but now you can make an MV of your own.
First, open the "Canvas" section to set the overall aspect ratio and background color, if needed.
Then, arrange your music and visuals as you need. Use stock video if you need.
