  • Supported formats: MP4 only.

If your recording doesn’t meet the LinkedIn video length limit, you can either cut it in our Video Cutter if it’s too long, or repeat it in our Video Looper if it’s too short.

If you need to change LinkedIn video size and format, follow the steps:

  1. Upload your video

Open Clideo’s Video Resizer in any browser. Click the blue button in the centre of the screen and import a video from your personal device. Or click the arrow on the right side of the button and add a video from Google Drive or Dropbox

  2. Choose a preset

Choose one of the ready presets for LinkedIn: there are 8 options available — 5 for shared videos and 3 for ads. The tool has more than 100 presets for all the most popular social media and types of posts.

Alternatively, select the “Custom” option, hit the aspect ratio you need and set the frame’s width or length manually, the second parameter will be defined automatically.

Click the chain sign between the fields to set both parameters manually.

Crop the video or add borders. You can blur them, choose their colour from the palette or even set a colour code manually.

Choose an output format (don’t worry, there will be available only the ones that are supported by the chosen post type) and click “Resize”.

  3. Download the resized video

After a quick preview save the recording to your smartphone, laptop, PC, Mac or cloud. If you want to change something, click “Back to edit” and start over. Now, proceed to share the clip.

How to post a video on LinkedIn

Easy, as ABC.

Go to your homepage, find the field “Start a post”, click the camera sign “Video” and choose the previously saved recording.

If you use a mobile application, don’t close it until the video is fully uploaded.
