How to change frame rate of a video

Whether it’s for editing, ease of viewing, or any other purposes, sometimes we have to convert the video file into another format. And if we have to change one thing, we might look at the other aspects as well, for example, increase or reduce video’s FPS. Such a simple change can significantly improve the visual perception and make viewing more comfortable.

It is quite easy to do too – there are many video frame rate converters, as well as various video editors that will help to make any changes needed. However, not everyone wants to look for a separate FPS changer and format converters or look into the many features of the editor.

Luckily, you don’t have to – our video converter will help you with that! It’s an online tool where you can convert the format and change the video frame rate at the same page without any complications. The whole process will take just a few clicks!

  1. Upload the clip

Open Clideo’s Video Converter and click "Get started"

After that, you can either drag and drop the video from a folder on your PC or click "Choose file" to add it from any other device.

  2. Convert the clip

In the conversion window at the top right, you can select whichever format you want to convert to in the drop-down list. To see all the available options, hover over the video icon.

By clicking the gear icon on the right, you will see additional settings that can be adjusted as well. There you can set the frame rate, as well as modify the audio frequency and audio channels for your video.

When you’re done with the settings, click "Convert".

  3. Download the video

Converted files do not go to your projects, so be sure to save them to your device before closing the conversion window – to do so, simply click "Download". After you’ve saved the result, you can go back to change the settings or convert another file.
