How to make a video go viral on TikTok

For beginning video content creators, there are numerous platforms they can target. Given the number of options available, the preferences vary. Some favor long-form content, while others lean toward short-form TikTok videos. This shorter format may be preferable for novices as, in general, it takes less time to plan and shoot.

Many people already know how to make a TikTok video – sometimes, it's enough to film a random situation on a smartphone and post it. However, it's not always clear how to go viral on TikTok because trends change from time to time, and you need to keep up with them. Despite this, you don't always need to chase a specific trend since sometimes a well-edited video is more than enough.

In this case, our video editor will help you! With this tool, you can create TikTok videos and edit their various aspects, bringing them to the perfect result. All this can be done on your PC and phone, and the process is quite simple!

  1. Upload media

Open Clideo's Online TikTok Video Maker and click "Get started".

Then, use "+" to add all the needed files from your device or use the cloud storage buttons to import from Google Drive, Google Photos, or Dropbox.

If you don't have the video and want to record yourself or film something extra, simply choose the suitable option in the "Record" tab.

Want to add some interesting visual effects or look up music suitable for the video? No problem! Just browse the media libraries in the menu on the editor's left pane and add the asset you like to the timeline. For example, in the "Elements" section, you can find various emojis, GIFs, and other stuff to use in your video.

  2. Edit your TikTok video

Set the suitable aspect ratio for your video in the "Canvas" tab to fit the platform's requirements.

After that, place the files on the timeline in the order they should play. If you want some of them to overlay the main video, place these files above it in the timeline, then manually drag them in the player to put them in the correct position.

To change some settings for one or a group of files, select them on the timeline or in the player, and the options tab will appear. There, you can adjust the colors and opacity of visual files, change speed, duration, and volume for video and audio, etc.

If you need to add captions, click any preset in the "Text" tab, then write anything you want. To customize the font, color, and other captions settings, click the text box to open the tab with these options. You can also drag the text box in the player to place it where the captions should appear.

When you finish editing, click "Export" at the top right and choose your preferred option.

  3. Save the video

After the video is processed, you can watch the playback to see how it looks. If you like the result, click "Download" to download the video to your device or cloud storage. If you want to make some changes, click "Edit."
