How to make a TikTok video online

  1. Upload initial files

Hit the big blue button to upload GIFs, photos and/or videos from your personal device. Click the face-down arrow to call a menu and import media from your cloud storage accounts, for example, Google Drive or Dropbox.

  2. Create a TikTok video

Add more files either via drag & drop option (the timeline below the player) or by using one of the options from the previous step on the top right. When you collect all the media you need, arrange them in proper order by dragging them along the timeline.

Choose an aspect ratio – for TikTok it will be the same as for Instagram in-feed and Stories, so you’ll need either 1:1 or 9:16 options. You can also adjust your recording for YouTube and Facebook specs.

Select a crop option: fit the frame with borders or zoom and crop it. Check what it looks like in the player.

If there are any images in your video, set their duration. Pay attention, this parameter will be applied to all the pictures equally.

Tick the “Crossfade” box to make the transitions smoother.

  3. Add a perfect song

The same as with the video files, you can upload audio from your personal device, Google Drive, Dropbox or external online resource.

Click the scissors icon to trim the soundtrack. Move the sliders to select the needed snippet. If the track is shorter than the recording, hit the loop option.

Adjust the volume by clicking the tiny volume icon. If your initial video has its own sound, you can mute it or also adjust.

Choose an output format. The best choice for TikTok will be MP4 and MOV.

Click “Create” and wait a bit for the result.

  4. Save and share on TikTok

Have a quick preview and check one more time if you like what you see. If so, save the visual to your personal device or cloud storage account. If you don’t, click “Back to edit” and keep working.
