How to make a catchy Instagram video
-
Import pictures and videos
To create a new video, you have to upload a base – some initial recordings, photos, and GIFs. To select them, click the blue button “Choose files” and pick the needed visuals from your device.
To add files stored on Google Drive or Dropbox, call the drop-down menu and choose one of the provided options.
-
Add more files
If you want to add more photos and other files, drag and drop them to the timeline pane below the player. You can also hit the button “Add more files” and use any of the methods from the first step. When you have all that you need, change the files’ order.
Choose one of four ready presets. For a regular Instagram in-feed post, you’ll need the first one – 1:1, for Instagram Story – the third, 9:16. Choose one of the two crop options: either zoom and crop the frame or fit it with borders.
Set the duration for the images used in the future clip. Tick the “Crossfade” box and make your video seamless.
Add audio – mind, that the initial one will be also kept. Trim the new one manually or using the sidebars. Then adjust the volume for both soundtracks. In case you don’t need the initial sound, mute it completely.
Finally, choose an output format. Our tool suggests lots of them, but the best choices for Instagram are MP4 and MOV.
When you’re done, click “Create” and let the Video Maker do the rest.

Download and save the clip
Watch the result and get sure that it’s smooth and nice. If you don’t want to change anything, download it to your personal device or one of the two above mentioned clouds. Otherwise, click “Back to edit” and keep improving the clip.
