How to loop a video for YouTube on iPhone or another device

You have definitely seen such clips or GIFs on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, YouTube, as well as in blogs and messengers. They are mostly for fun, but can also be made for any other imaginable purpose, including educational or motivational ones.

Ever wanted to see that astonishing scene you found in some video repeat forever? Nothing’s easier! These days you can put a video on loop even on your mobile device and there is no need to install yet another app. Our service works online in any browser and on any platform or operating system including Windows, macOS, Android, or iOS.

We have different video editing tools for any purpose, they are all free if your file is up to 500 MB. A subscription, though, could be helpful if you prefer to jump from one tool to another without downloading intermediate results.

Anyway, you don’t need to have any specific expertise or rack your brains trying to find the right button. The process is as simple as possible and it takes just 3 steps to get a video to loop.

  1. Upload a clip for YouTube

Go to the Clideo’s Video Looper. Then tap the “Choose file” button and add the file. Just FYI, you can also upload right from your device or Google Drive/Dropbox cloud platforms. The accepted formats are numerous: MP4, AVI, MOV, WMV, MKV, and so on.

By the way, if your recording is too long, you might first want to trim it in our online cutting tool.

  2. Set the video on loop

Once the recording is processed, you will see its preview and the loop settings buttons.

Select any from 2x to 6x to define how many times the clip will repeat. When a number is selected, you will be able to select an output format for your video file.

Alternatively, if you need a never-ending story, choose the “Infinite” button. Thus the clip will play forever. Please note that with this option selected, you will get a GIF that can have no audio.

That’s it! Tap the “Export” button below.

  3. Save the result

The looped file will be ready in a moment. Have another look at it. If all is perfect, download the new recording to your device, Google Drive or Dropbox. If you need to change something, tap the “Edit” button to go back and make an embedded YouTube video loop with other settings.
