How to make stop motion on Android

Decades ago, it was the only way to make an animated film, and it was anyway faster than the traditional drawing of each frame. Nowadays Stop Motion is often used for advertising purposes.

If you want to save your time, use our tool that allows you to create a stop motion animation on Android using just one video! There are several modes, so you can decide on pace, frame duration and other settings.

The most important is that Clideo service is online and easy-to-use, so you don’t need any video editing experience to master it. Just follow three easy steps.

  1. Upload a video for stop motion

Open Clideo’s Stop Motion Creator in any browser. Tap on the button “Choose file” to import a shooting from your personal device.

A drop-down menu on the right side of the button allows you to select a recording from Google Drive or Dropbox cloud storage accounts or paste a direct link to the video posted on social media.

  2. Turn the video into stop motion

Select a speed mode: Slow, Medium, or Fast. You can try them all to compare an effect.

Then decide on a clip rate: this setting means how often the tool will take a frame from the original video. Again, try several options to find the best one.
