Change aspect ratio for video for YouTube easily

The reason for such problems lies in the aspect ratio that is not appropriate for the site you’re using. So before adding a video to a social medium, make sure to check its requirements and then edit your file in accordance with them.

  1. Upload a video for YouTube

    Open Clideo's video resizer in any browser and on any device. To upload a clip directly from your device, click "Choose file", or click the small arrow on the right tp upload a file from Google Drive or Dropbox..

    Wait for the video to be processed. If it is small and your internet connection is stable, it won't take long.

  2. Change aspect ratio of the video

    Simply choose the ready aspect ratio preset on the right side of the screen. There are 6 different social media options, including resizing for Snapchat, Instagram, Facebook, and post types for all of them. If you're not going to post online, select the Custom preset.

    At the bottom of the screen, there is an option to change the file format. For all social networks it is recommended to use MP4.

  3. Save the video with new aspect ratio

    Once your file has been processed, you can download it. Take one more look at it in the preview window to make sure everything is how you wanted. If it is, save the file to your personal device or cloud storage. If not — don’t worry, just click “Edit” and make the necessary changes.
