Follow three simple steps and resize a Facebook cover photo to fit the social medium’s demands in no time.
Upload a picture to the tool
Open Clideo’s Photo Resizer and hit the “Choose file” button to select a photo from your camera roll or other personal device.
You can also call the drop-down menu on the same pane and pick up a file from your cloud storage — Google Drive or Dropbox;
Resize the picture for Facebook cover photo
Find the “Resize for” section on the right side. Set “Facebook” in the first field and “Cover” in the second.
If you want, you can also resize your image for any other social media and post type – there are about 100 combinations available!
As for the crop options, for the cover page you’d better stick with “Fill”. This mode fills the frame with the image completely, but be cautious – a part of the picture may be cut out. In such a case you can move the image within the frame to find the exact part to save.
When you are done, click on the “Resize” and get ready to change your Facebook cover photo!
Save the resized pic
Save the result to your personal device or a cloud storage account. If you want to get rid of the tiny watermark in the bottom right corner of the image, just upgrade your account to Clideo Pro. If you’ve just realized that some changes are needed, hit the “Back to edit” arrow.
