How to translate audio to English or any other language
Audio translation used to be one of the most tiresome, time- and effort-consuming tasks. Without audio recognition and transcribing tools, these jobs had to be performed manually, which required not only time but also skills and experience. Depending on the initial recording quality, the final result was prone to errors and inaccuracies. The output was always just a text file, turning it into an MP3 audio required even more financial and human resources.
With the help of an audio translator, you can get a voice message or other audio files in another language, generated by artificial intelligence. An AI voice translator is also capable of creating a text transcription or an SRT file, that can be used as subtitles. Moreover, you can even use it as your online song translator.
The tool works online in a browser-based mode, so you don’t have to install, set up, and master any applications or software. It is straightforward and designed so that you can’t make a mistake and spoil your project by clicking something in the wrong manner. But if you are not sure what to do, just follow those steps.
Upload your file to the tool
Open Clideo’s Online Audio Translator and hit the "Choose file" button to import a track from your device. Alternatively, call the drop-down menu to upload a file from the cloud. The tool accepts various input formats, such as AAC, FLAC, MP3, etc.
Translate audio to English
When transferred to the next screen, set up the original language and the language of translation, and click "Start translation".
Correct the transcript
Click each of the text boxes, to revise the transcript and correct it, if necessary.
Download the translation
If you want to have your translated text as a TXT or SRT file, you can download these documents in the top-right corner of the screen.
Translate voiceover
To translate audio with the help of an AI voice, hit the gear icon next to the "Export video" button and make sure the "Change speech" toggle is on. Select the AI "voice over artist’s" voice and click the "Export video" button.
Save the result
The output will be a video file with a black background and translated audio. Depending on your choice, there might or might not be embedded subtitles (by default they are included). You can save the video to the chosen location and use it as it is.
Extract the audio
If you need a separate audio file with a translated voice, extract the soundtrack with the help of an Audio Cutter.
After uploading your video file, move the yellow handles to define the piece you need and click "Export" at the bottom right.
After processing the file, download the extracted audio to your local or cloud storage.
