Convert video into audio podcast
Not all of us are visual learners, some perceive information by hearing. Not even mentioning that we can’t watch anything while driving, walking, or jogging. It would be a shame to lose such a great opportunity to learn or have fun!
With Clideo’s help, you can listen to interviews with experts while doing your daily chores. You may also find a clip of your favorite band on YouTube or Vimeo and extract a soundtrack.
Mind that our tool is free for files up to 500 MB only. But no worry, it’s more than enough for an average recording. If you need to upload a larger video, consider updating your account to Clideo Pro. This subscription also allows you to edit one project in several tools without prior downloading and takes away a watermark in video editing tools.
Follow three simple steps and turn, for example, a YouTube video into a podcast in no time!
Upload a video
If you want to process a YouTube video or other recording from social media, you should download it and save it to your personal device or cloud storage first.
Then open Clideo’s Audio Editor and upload the file. To pick up a clip from your PC or phone, hit the blue button "Choose file". To import content from Google Drive or Dropbox, call the drop-down menu on the right side of the same pane.
Mind that our tool works online, so a stable internet connection and good bandwidth are essential.
Trim the audio
The audio will be automatically extracted and you may already download it. Just place the yellow handlers to the start and end points of the track. Make sure that there must be at least a 0.11-second gap no matter what side, otherwise the "Export" button will stay inactive.
If you want to trim the audio, place the holders to the chosen positions or set the timing in the corresponding boxes and either extract or delete the selected snippet. Don’t forget to tick the "Fade in", "Fade out" or "Crossfade" boxes to seal the transactions.
Before going further, select the output format. We would recommend sticking to MP3, as it is compatible with the majority of playback devices and software.
When you are done, click the "Export" button and wait while your project is being processed.
Download podcast audio
Listen to the podcast you’ve just created and save it to your personal device or cloud storage accounts. If you want to change anything, hit the "Edit" button and keep working.
