How to put an emoji over a face in a video
Privacy is key, according to modern laws, one can’t share other people’s images without explicit consent. Does it mean you can’t take photos or record videos in public areas? Of course not.
It’s enough to cover the bypassers’ faces with still or animated emojis or video stickers. How to use emojis in other ways? For example, place them on the point you want to emphasize or just use them as decorations.
Clideo’s all-in-one video editor, being a platform-agnostic tool, is a perfect solution for such projects. With its help, you can add emojis to video on an iPhone, Android smartphone, laptop, or any other device connected to the internet.
Let’s take a closer look at how to add emojis to your project in three short steps.
Upload a video
Open the Video Editor in a browser, as the tool works online. Click the "Get started" button to open the editing pane.
Import a video from your device, Google Drive, or another cloud storage. You can also select a picture from an embedded stock library or record it right in the tool.
Add still or moving emojis
Add more elements to your project, and arrange them all in the timeline if needed: other visuals, audio track, text, text-to-speech voice-overs. When all the assets are matched and edited (click each one separately to open its settings), open the "Elements" library, click "See all" next to the "Emojis" section title and tap the emojis you need to add them to your project.
Select each emoji to edit their duration on the timeline with the help of the yellow handles. Drag the image on the editing canvas to place it in the needed position.
To find emoticon videos with animated emojis, go back to the "Elements", go to the "Stickers" section, click the search icon and type "emoji" in the search field.
Save the video
Run your freshly created video to make sure everything is in its rightful place and hit the "Export" button. When prompted, pick up the output resolution and click "Continue".
When the project is processed, review it one more time and if all is fine, save it to the local or cloud storage. If you need to make any changes, click "Edit".
