Crop your video on Windows easily

The simplest solution for both cases is just to crop your video.

It’s an easy thing to do as there are many apps for it, but some of them are costly and can take some time for installation. Luckily, you don’t have to install anything – just use our online tool!

It’s compatible with any device, so you’ll be able to crop a video on Windows 10, 8, 7, or any other version for free. The tool also supports different formats, so apart from cropping videos in a popular MP4 format you can also work with the rare ones such as AVI, MPG, MOV, WMV and others.

The process is simple too, just follow the steps below.

  1. Upload a video

    Open Clideo’s Video Cropper. Click on the “Choose file” button to pick a recording from your device. On the computer, you can drag and drop it directly from the folder.

    You can also upload a file from Google Drive or Dropbox – hover over the downward arrow to use the option you need.

  2. Crop the video

    In editor, you can freely select the area you want to crop by dragging yellow edges of the highlighted frame.

    If you plan to share the video on social media, there are also presets for YouTube, Facebook, Instagram Stories and Feed available on the right side – apply the one you need and move the selected area to capture the part of the video you want to crop.

    The tool allows you to change the file’s format too – click on the option below the player to do it. You can pick among a lot of different formats such as MP4, MOV, AVI, and many others.

    When you finish editing, click on the “Export” button.

  3. Get the cropped video

    After processing, you can preview the final result. If you need to make some changes, click on the “Edit” button to return to the previous step.

    Otherwise, click on “Download” to get the video directly to your device. Alternatively, you have the option to upload the file to your Dropbox or Google Drive account.
