Make a video with music and photos
We all like to keep memories of events such as birthdays, weddings or graduation of our children by taking a lot of photos. When some of them turn out particularly good, you may want to sort them into some kind of an album to present to your loved ones. One way to do this is to make a personalized video with photos and music.
It may seem tricky, but nowadays there’s a lot of editing software to make it a simple task to do. Or, even better, you can do the same without having to download any apps using our online tool. With it, you will spend less time on editing since it’s very simple to use – just follow the instructions below.
Add photos
First, open Clideo’s Slideshow Maker. Then click on the “Choose files” and pick photos and videos from your device. Alternatively, you can add them from your Dropbox or Google Drive account – just hover over the arrow next to the blue button to see these options.
The tool supports a wide range of formats such as JPG, PNG, TIFF, MPEG, MP4, WMV, GIF and more.
Don’t worry about the size, since for each file you upload it is up to 500 MB for free. Also, if you forget to upload something, you can always add it in the next step.
Create a video with photos and audio
Here, to add more files, click either on the button on the timeline or on the top right side of the screen. Then set the order of your files by dragging and dropping them.
If you plan to post your video on social media, you may change the aspect ratio – there are 1:1, 16:9, 9:16 and 5:4 available. Pick “Zoom & Crop” or “Fit with border” option: the former crops the pictures to make them fit the frame, the latter adds black bars on sides.
Below, there’s an option to change the image duration – you can set it up to 1 minute. This will apply to all photos. To make the transition between them smoother, tick the “Crossfade” option.
Then, use the “Add audio” option to add the song. Again, you can upload it from your device or cloud storage.
Once the music is added, you can make it shorter if you just want to use a part of the song or if it’s longer than the video. To do this, click on “Trim audio”, then drag yellow sliders to cut the fragment you need or simply put time stamps in the boxes below. Then click on the volume bars icon to adjust the volume of video and audio tracks separately if you need to.
The slideshow will be saved as a video, and you can choose the format for it below the player – there are MP4, AVI, MKV, WMV and others formats available.
When you finish editing, click on “Export”.
Download the result
On this screen, you can preview the video clip you made. If you like the result, click “Download” to save the video to your device. You can also upload it to your Dropbox or Google Drive account by hovering over the arrow on this button.
If you want to add some changes, simply click “Edit” and it will take you to the previous step.
