How to make a GIF
Nowadays, GIFs are incredibly popular because they are a convenient way to exchange reactions. And sometimes we want to create a GIF for YouTube.
The good thing is, it’s very easy to do, you don’t even have to download any apps to do it. We offer you an online tool that allows making a GIF just in three clicks. It works on all the devices seamlessly so you can use it on both a computer and a phone.
The GIF creator is very simple to use, just follow the instructions below.
Upload a video
Open Clideo’s YouTube to GIF maker. Our tool allows uploading a file from cloud storage or adding a video directly from your device.
If you want to use only a part of the video, we suggest you cut it first.
Convert the video into a GIF
Once the file is added, you can see a few options on the right side of the editor.
To turn your recording into a GIF, click on the button with an infinity symbol – it’s that simple! Mind that it will be muted.
If you want to keep the sound of the clip, simply make your video repeat the necessary number of times creating a GIF effect – it can be looped up to 6 times.
After that, you can change the format below the player. There are different formats available but if you’re planning on sharing the video on a social medium, it’s better to pick MP4 or MOV.
When you’re done with editing, hit the “Export” button.
Get your GIF
Here, you can preview the final result. If you are satisfied with it, click on “Download” to get the file directly to your device or choose cloud storage via the downward arrow on the right side.
Want to make some changes? Hit the “Edit” button and it will take you to the previous page without losing progress.
