To get avail of our tools you don’t have to pay or even register – it’s free for files up to 500 MB. But if you want to get rid of a tiny watermark or edit bigger files, subscribe to Clideo Pro.

  1. Import a video to cut

Open Clideo’s MOV Trimmer in any browser and hit the “Choose file” pane to upload a visual from your personal device.

You can also import a video from the Internet. For that, call the drop-down menu on the right side of this button and select it from Google Drive or Dropbox.

  2. Cut MOV file

There are two ways to trim the video. Select a snippet with the help of sliders or set the timing manually. Now you can either extract or delete it.

In the first case, it will be your new visual to save. In the second, the extract will be erased, and the rest will be merged into a new seamless recording.

    Trim MOV file

Tick the boxes “Fade in”, “Fade out” or “Crossfade” to make the frame transition smoother.

You can also pick a video format you need from the drop-down list below the timeline.

Change format of cut MOV file

When you are fully done, hit the “Cut” button and wait several moments.

  3. Save the video

Run a quick final preview to get sure that you like what you see. If so, save the result to your personal device or cloud storage account. If you feel you could do better, hit “Back to edit” and make changes without starting over.
