Create a video podcast

Some people are audiles, while others are visual learners and hardly perceive any information aurally. They rarely listen to podcasts — and that’s a great loss, as audio channels nowadays transmit loads of helpful information, breaking news, and educational lectures.

The question is: can podcasts be videos? And the answer is: definitely, they can! Just add the audio track you need to any video and create a clip. You may use free Clideo tools to edit your podcast audio (for example, if you don’t need the whole track and want to trim it) and merge it with the footage.

Clideo service is free for files up to 500 MB each, and if you want to add several recordings, their bulk size is not limited.

Follow three simple steps and enjoy your podcast video!

  1. Upload visuals

Make sure your Internet connection is stable enough to process large files and open Clideo’s Slideshow Maker.

To pick up files from your device, hit the "Choose files" button. If you want to use content stored at cloud accounts, call the drop-down menu and choose Google Drive or Dropbox. In any case, multiple selection is possible but not necessary.

  2. Add podcast audio

Hit the "Add audio" button to the right of the player and import a podcast you need. Then you can trim it and adjust its volume.

    Add podcast audio to video

If the audio is longer than the video, add more visuals — recordings, pictures, or GIFs.

If you are going to post your slideshow online, choose the corresponding aspect ratio preset and crop option. Don’t forget to check the "Crossfade" box to make the frame transition smoother.

If there are static images in your slideshow, set their duration. This setting will be applied to all pictures equally. Check if the footage matches the audio and change its duration if necessary.

Don’t forget to choose the output format in the bottom left corner of the screen. For a YouTube video, you’d better stick to MOV or MP4, but the tool also provides less popular extensions.

When you are done, click the "Export" button and give the tool several moments to do its job.

  3. Save the podcast video

Make sure that you got exactly what you wanted. If so, download the result to Google Drive or Dropbox. If you want to remove a watermark, update your account to Clideo Pro. This option will also let you edit one project in several tools without prior downloading and uploading it.
