Time Lapse Creator
Create a time lapse by speeding up a video
How to create a timelapse
Usually, to make a time lapse we use a special option while recording. But what if you want to speed up a previously shot video?
Nothing can be easier with an online time-lapse creator by Clideo.
Our tool is compatible with all devices, including Mac, Windows, iPad, Android and iPhone. You can upload files up to 500 MB for free, and you can edit as many projects per day, as you need. In contrast to shareware apps, we don’t make you bear with endless ads.
If you edit without a subscription, your projects will be marked with a tiny discreet watermark.

Upload a video
You can upload an initial video from your personal device or cloud storage account. Just hit the big blue button at the tool’s homepage or call a drop-down menu and choose the option you like.

Create a time lapse video
Change the video speed. You can choose one of 6 ready options in the grid, from 0.25x to 2x, or set the speed manually using a slider.
Tick the box “Mute video” if you don’t need the sped-up sound.
Select an output format. If you are going to post your timelapse on Facebook or any other social media, hit MP4 or MOV, as they are compatible with the majority of internet platforms.
When you are ready, click on the “Speed” button and wait while your recording is getting sped up.

Save the result
Give the recording a final run to get sure that you like what you’ve got. If so, save it to your personal device, Google Drive or Dropbox. If it is still not perfect, hit “Back to edit” and change what you want.
