How to add a picture to a video on iPhone

Some social networks allow you to add a picture to the video at the stage of creating a new post. For example, on TikTok, this can be done while adding a video through the “Effects” or “Upload” functions if you want to take a picture on your phone.

Add files

Open Clideo’s Online Video Editor and tap “Get started”.

Tap “+ Upload” at the bottom of the screen to add media files from your device, Google Drive, or Dropbox.
Make the video

Uploaded files are stored in “My Media” and you can add a file you need from there to the timeline at any moment.

Tap “Settings” at the bottom to set the aspect ratio of the video. There you can also change the background color if at some point in the video there will be a blank space.

To overlay a picture over a video, make sure to place the image file above the video clip in the timeline — to do so, simply drag it or tap on it, then hit the “Front” icon in the bottom tab to move it up. Then, you can tap the image in the preview and adjust its size by dragging its corners.

This way you can add multiple pictures, whether it’s a slideshow above or under the video or many images overlayed on top of it. You can even do the opposite and add a video to a picture as well!

Other options in the bottom tab will allow you to change the appearance of media files, as well as change the volume of audio/video files and the speed of clips.

When you finish editing, click “Export” and choose the export option you like.
Save the video

Playback the video to check if it looks good. If everything is ok, scroll down and tap “Download” to save the video to your device or to cloud storage.
