How to make video edits on iPhone
You can edit iPhone videos right away without using other video editing software because Apple devices already have this feature.
For example, do you need to cut a video on an iPhone? Select it in the Photos app and tap "Edit", then tap the timeline, drag the sidebars to define the part you want, and tap "Done" – and voila, the video is cut. As you may have noticed, there are other functions in the "editing" section where you can resize or rotate the video, adjust the brightness and saturation, as well as apply filters and mute the sound.
While you can trim videos in the Photos app, the free downloadable iMovie app is also suitable for this task. In this iOS video editor, you can make any necessary changes to the length and size of the video, add background music, or merge several videos into one. The controls in this app are similar.
And if you don't want to download anything but need such functionality, our online video editor tool will help you out! You only need an internet connection to use it.
The rest is pretty simple:
Add files
Open Clideo’s Online Video Editor and tap "Get started".
Tap the timeline or the + sign to upload files from your device, Google Drive, or Dropbox. You can add more files anytime.
Edit the video
Add a file you need from "Uploads" to the timeline to start editing. Use the + button at the top right of the timeline to zoom in and fine-tune the start or endpoints of your video clip.
Tap "Canvas" at the bottom to set the aspect ratio of the video.
You can also change the background color if the video doesn't cover the whole space or you would like to add some space for texts or just for fun.
Then, tap the video in the timeline. At the bottom, you will see options to change its appearance and adjust volume and speed. If you want to shorten the video, it works the same way as in the Photos app. To close the "Options" bar, tap a small arrow on its right.
To add captions, tap "Text" and choose any preset you like.
To change the text, set its font, color, and size, select it and tap "Edit" in the bottom bar.
When you finish editing, click "Export" and choose the export option you like.
Download the result
Watch the video to check if it looks good. If you want to add changes, tap "Edit". Otherwise, tap "Download" to save it to your device or a cloud storage account.
