How to create meme GIFs with sound

Hence, many people want to know how to make a GIF with audio to make it even more engaging. But do GIFs have sound?

GIF is an image file, not a video file, containing both images and audio. That’s why you can’t really make a file with a .gif extension that plays sound. However, a way to make a GIF with sounds is to convert them to a video format, preferably MP4.

If you want to make your own GIF, for example, Christmas GIFs with sounds, then our tool will help you create them! You can use it as a GIF with audio maker, and you don’t even have to download any apps because it works online on all devices.

Working with it is a piece of cake, just follow these steps:

  1. Add files

Open Clideo’s Online Video Editor and click "Get started".

If you want to use only a particular part of the audio, split it at the start and end points and delete the remaining parts. Then, if the length of the GIF is shorter, simply copy and paste it as many times as needed to extend it.
