Merge videos on Windows 10 or any other device
Luckily, Clideo provides an online service, so you can combine two videos on Windows 10, Mac or any other device in several clicks.
Our free version enables you to upload unlimited quantities of files up to 500 MB each. There are no annoying ads, restrictions or time limits; you can get profit from the full functionality. The only thing is that free users have to bear with a tiny discreet watermark on the videos.
Keep reading and get to know how to use the video joiner in a few steps.
Upload files to merge
Open Clideo’s Video Merger on Windows 7 or another OS in any browser. Click on the pane “Choose files” and select initial videos, GIFs or pictures. Multiple selection is possible! You can also just drag and drop the files you need right on the page.
If you want to use content stored online, call the drop-down menu on the right of the pane and import it from Google Drive or Dropbox.
Add more files
Find the “Add more files” pane in the top right corner and upload more GIFs, recordings or pics, using the options from the first step.
Alternatively, just drag and drop the needed content to the timeline below the player. Arrange their order as you wish. If you don’t need any part of your future clip anymore and want to delete it, just hit the X in the top right corner of that file.
Crop frame in the Windows 10 video joiner
Choose one of four aspect ratio presets: 1:1 for Instagram, 16:9 for YouTube, 9:16 for Instagram Story, and 5:4 for Facebook.
Decide on the crop option:
- Zoom & Crop fills the frame with the image, but it will be cropped, so some part of the initial picture will be lost.
- Fit with border option places the whole image into the frame with the side borders left.
If you’ve used any static pictures for your visual, set their duration. Pay attention: the chosen value will be applied to all of them.
Tick the “Crossfade” box to make the frame transition smooth.
When you are done with the visual part, select the output format. Think, where you are going to post your clip. If it will be one of the popular social media, choose MP4 or MOV.
Add audio if needed
You can add audio exactly the same way as video files two steps before: from your personal device or cloud storage. When it is uploaded, click the Scissors sign to trim it. Set the start/end timing manually in the boxes or move the sliders.
Click the Bar sign on the right of the trimming panel to adjust the audio volume. If the initial video has its own sound, you can either adjust its volume as well or mute it.
When you are fully done, click on “Merge” and let the tool do the rest.
Save the merged video
Take a quick preview and if you find any imperfections, click on “Back to edit” to fix them. When everything is just perfect, save the visual to your personal device or upload it to a Cloud.
