Extract Audio from MP4 Online

Audio extraction means separating the audio track from a video file and saving it as a standalone audio file. Depending on the method you choose, you may also be able to select the output format, adjust quality settings, or trim the track before saving it.

There are three main ways to extract audio from MP4 videos.

1. Online audio extractor: Browser-based tools let you upload an MP4 file and convert it to formats such as MP3, WAV, or AAC. They are convenient because they do not require software installation.
2. Media player: Some media players, such as VLC Media Player, can extract audio from video files. This option is free and works offline, but it may require a little familiarity with the software.

How to extract audio from MP4 files with Clideo

   Select your preferred output format from the drop-down menu at the bottom (you may choose from 15 common formats, including quite rare ones, such as SPX, MID, AAC, and others).

   

   Then click "Export" and wait for the file to process. The actual processing time depends on your Internet connection speed and the original video file size.

3. Download just your audio track

   When the file is ready, save the extracted audio to your device or upload it to cloud storage. If you want to make more changes or extract another part from the same video, click "Edit" to return to the previous screen.
