What is a Halloween challenge
Challenges have become an integral part of digital content, even social media celebrities participate in them. Some challenges are "undated" and can be held at any time, while others coincide with holidays and significant events.
Halloween challenges may include (but not be limited to):
- Halloween cookie challenge. It’s not only the name of a show but also a competition to see who can bake the scariest (and tastiest) cookies.
- Halloween movie marathon. You watch a set amount of Halloween movies and give feedback on each.
- Halloween savings. Usually, that’s a cute (and a little spooky) board with tiny boxes to save some sum every day.
- Halloween reading: for example, during October-November you should read a book with a spell in the title, a book about a murder, a book set in autumn, etc.
- 31 days of Halloween. For a month, do something Halloween-y every day: set up decorations, carve a pumpkin, buy candles, watch a scary movie, etc.
All those challenges may take days and even weeks to complete, but with the help of Clideo’s Video Editor, you’ll turn all the recordings and photo proofs into a beautiful and enigmatic Halloween art project in no time.
The service works online in a browser, so device model, OS type, or software version compatibility are off the table. While there is a Clideo Pro subscription, free users can also avail of the tool to create complicated artistic projects.
The video editor features an impressive number of functions, and new ones are being added regularly. That’s why a short manual on Halloween video creation might come in handy.
Upload your initial assets
Open Clideo's Video Editor on any device you want.
Hit the "Get started" button and upload all the files you need: your initial recording (or recordings), photos, images, and music. You can import all the assets from your personal device or cloud storage accounts. Alternatively, just drag and drop them on the screen.
Another option: avail of inbuilt stock libraries. You can pick up various images, videos, soundtracks, stickers, emojis, GIFs, and other elements. Last but not least, record your content right in the tool.
Arrange your assets
Open the "Canvas" tab to set up the project’s aspect ratio and the background color, if needed.
When all the "ingredients" are ready, rearrange them along the timeline on different tracks. Place visuals over each other in the timeline, so that one element overlays another in the editing canvas.
Click on each file separately to open its settings and change characteristics, such as playback speed, color scheme (visuals), volume (audio), timing, and others.
You can shorten the duration of your files with the help of the yellow handles in the timeline, "split" function, or just set their duration in one click in the corresponding settings tab.
When the main "body" is ready, add a TTS voiceover, captions, stickers, and other elements. Use the "search" field to find the most spooky, scary, and Halloween-y ones!
Save the result
Give your project the final run to make sure it looks exactly as you expect it to. Then click the "Export" button, select the output resolution (depending on your subscription plan), and process the project.
If you are a registered user, It will be stored in your profile, but you’d better save it to the chosen location right away.
