How to repurpose your video for YouTube to Instagram story

So how to share a YouTube video on Instagram? Actually, there are few ways to do it:

Add a YouTube link to your Instagram story, so your followers can go to your channel and watch the video;
Or simply post the video on Instagram.

If you go with the latter option, you will need to edit the video so it fits Instagram’s requirements and looks good in the post. It can be simple resizing or some extra editing, such as adding captions for followers who scroll through Instagram with the sound off. In both cases, our tools can help you!

Upload the video

Open Clideo’s Online Video Editor and click “Get started”.

Make edits

Drag the file from “Uploads” to the preview area or timeline.

To change the aspect ratio, click “Canvas” and apply the preset you need. You can also change the background color there if there is extra space after resizing.
