Upload a video

Hit a big blue button to select a video from your personal device. If you want to use content stored online, call a drop-down menu on the right side of the button and choose Google Drive, Google Photos, or Dropbox cloud storage account.

Add captions

If you have an .SRT file, just upload it by clicking "Upload .SRT". To create captions, click "Add manually". Edit them in the boxes to the right. Set their timing manually or in the timeline below the video. Click "Styles" to choose the background color, font, size, position, and alignment of the text. Click "Export" and let the tool embed hard subtitles as an overlay over your video.

Have a quick preview to make sure that you’re happy with the result. If so, download it to your personal device or cloud storage. If not, just come back to editing and keep working.
